Today, uPVC is the most successful Door/ Window material and its market share is constantly growing day by day. In residential constructions & commercial buildings its share is 75% whereas even these plastic (PVC) windows are used in renovation of old buildings.

Reinforced uPVC Window Profiles

All uPVC products are 100 % reinforced with galvanized composite reinforcing. Because of this, hinges and keeps are fixed securely to steel within the profile. If a window or door profile is not reinforced with steel, hinges (locking points) will only be fixed to the uPVC itself. They will become loose and fall out over time. Hence, the importance of reinforcement steel is widely prominent in the uPVC segment.

The slots are done with the usuage of modern door and window profiles, which Metalkraft able to manufacture the highest quality steel sections with slots to all PVC systems. Where these products are used as the reinforcement of UPVC Doors.

Applications of Steel Reinforcement for uPVC.

1) The uPVC are reinforced by a concealed GI section that provides additional strength and stability to the window.
2) The thickness of the reinforcements is assessed and calculated depending upon the height of the building and wind load requirements.
